A couple of years ago however, when he was outgrown by his latest jockey we decided to have him back to retire him.
You will now find this 27 y/o veteran wandering around the yard looking to be stroked and occasionally being ridden by the daughter of our neighbours.
This special pony arrived as a novice 5 y/o having only been to a couple of shows. Emma schooled and competed him for the best part of 3 years and they learnt an enormous amount together.
